In the rules:

One other thing, the tribe leaders will play a pivotal role in this challenge and future challenges, along with making final decisions for each challenge. If at any time a leader does not feel that they can live up to these expectations, they may give the leadership role to another tribemate. No one other than the leader can assign leadership to someone else. Until the leader is either voted off or relinquishes power, they are your tribe leaders.

Does this mean John can relinquish power for the next 10 minutes, and then whoever is the next leader can give it right back? I also have the completed image posted in my confessional thread, so yeah.
