But don't let the quick change of Episode and thread interrupt that beautiful stream of consciousness. As TC gets closer, have you gotten any closer to figuring out what is happening around here and what is your own best way forward?

No. I have no frigging idea what is going on. At this point I have no choice but to work with the old Guatusos, but they could be playing me too, although I fail to see the point of an elaborate ruse if everyone is just going to do the easy, and dumb, thing of voting me out. If I had to bet, my money is on the old Chorotegas are voting out Chris. I actually thought that may happen at the vote last night. I'm just going to keep PMing people to look for inconsistencies and try to piece together what may be really going on. And if they are going to vote Chris out, do I do something crazy and use the idol on him? I have to do SOMETHING at this point. I'm almost thinking that since I have about a .1% chance of winning this game I might as welll just play like a lunatic. Of course Chris and Mia could be playing me. I really don't see what the point is though because I think it's fairly obvious that the Chorotega people don't like me so much. So they would be expending a lot of energy to trick me just to vote me out. That seems pretty pointless.

So about the idol.... I don't think I'm going to play it tonight. If they all vote me out tonight all it does is buy me one day. BFD. And Chris and Mia seem convinced that they have the votes to get Jolanda out. This makes no frigging sense at all to me but a lot of stuff doesn't make sense to me. Like Brook telling the others about the idol clues so he could get voted out the next day. No sense at all. So I think I'm going to roll the dice and hang onto it for now on the crazy ass chance I somehow make it a few more rounds. I don't think I can use it on Chris. That could seriously backfire. And right now I do want to keep my options open.

And Tom told me that there was only one idol and someone from nuGuatuso must have gotten it because the password didn't work for them. That seems unlikely that there was only one idol between the two tribes. Can you guys tell me if that's true? And one thing I was thinking about was that damn idol clue leader lie that John supposedly told. That the leader gets to give a clue to someone on the other tribe. Tom told us this was bullshit. But really how and why would John make that up?????? It's so random and weird he really cooked that up five minutes after signing into the game for the first time????? I mean it is possible. He told Mia the same thing so he could have concocted that as a means to get people to trust him. I guess. That's just really weird and almost sociopathic, no?

And nothing I have heard about John after the fact was anything that John hadn't already told me himself. I knew he formed a secret partnership with Mia. He told me he was going to do that before he did. And besides the lies that I was a part of, he didn't tell any other ones. Brook was the one who was apparently in eight different alliances and flapping his yap everywhere.

Why am I talking about this? Well Guatuso won the first challenge. Which if Johns story were true, it would mean someone on our tribe got the first clue from Tom. Which could mean that John got the clue in the hopes that he would return the favor. Remember when I was baffled when John posted Clue 1 in it's actual format and not like I sent it to him? I thought at the time that he may have actually gotten it from Tom. And John could have been returning the favor. And the reason it didn't work when Mia figured it out was because Tom already had it long before. Just a thought because there only being one idol between the two tribes makes no sense. Either that or Mia got it. Or even one of the others.

Or John could be a sociopath.

So this whole fucking plan is hatched by Chris and Mia supposedly to get Jolanda out. A key component to this plan is to make sure Tom is not aware I am working with them and another key part is to flush the idol out from me. Make me feel isolated and use it and they vote out someone else. So instead of just rolling with this and if it looked bad, me potentially using it to save Chris..... Chris decides he's going to go tell Tom that I am going to use the idol on him to"make sure Tom sticks with the plan."

No seriously..... What?

Unless this whole story was a giant fucking lie (and if so kudos to the both of them I guess but I don't see the point). If this plan was actually supposed to work and Chris went and did that, can someone please shoot me in the fucking face. Now I have to use the idol tonight on myself. Because if they know Chris and I are working together and I am going to use the idol on him, they are going to vote me out.

I think I'm done with Chris. Either he's lying or a fucking idiot. And I am done with fucking idiots in this game. I'm going to have to play as a lone wolf and just hope they don't see me as a threat once the idol is gone and they can all devour each other while I figure out how to get out of this mess.

I may be saving Chris's ass here. I'll find out later. But after what he did I knew they were then going to flip the vote to me thinking I was using the idol on Chris. So now that I have no choice but to use the idol on myself, I've been making Gregg think I believe his bullshit and I'm safe tonight because I WANT THEM to vote for me now. I really wish this hadn't happened. Anyway Tom just PMed me telling me they are voting Chris out. I can't imagine why in a million years he would do that unless he wants me to play the idol on Chris. And then they vote me out. Which is actually now what I want them to do and then hopefully there are enough votes to get Jo out. I'm not voting tonight. Fuck that. I just hope that the other four original Guatusos all vote out Jo and that is enough. They don't have enough votes to split them. TBH.... I really do not trust Ami at all. We'll see but I hope it works out. I am now going to log off and stop responding to PMs to make them think I took the bait.

Oh and there is a chance they will throw the votes at Mia or Ami instead of me. But that's a chance I have to take. And for all I know Ami and Mia are working with them. If they all vote for me, the four votes should be enough to get Jo out. Even if they split and do for me and three someone else. I'm not going to vote to prove I'm alone and I'm not against Jo in case she stays. I really hope this works. And if Ami is two timing... There's nothing I can do anyway because we don't have the votes.
