Episode 07 - Merge

Well done!

Give me a breakdown of the overall game dynamic for you right now. Who do you trust in this game, who do you not trust but think you can work with? How do you get from here to the end, and who do you go there with?

How important is that idol, and how do you intend to use it?

The whole dynamic is so crazy now. I have no clue what to do.

I originally trusted Tom a lot, but not that he has access to Jolanda and Ibrehem again, I'm worried. he wants to take out Caryn first, which is okay with me, and then Chad, Ami and Lisa. That would leave Chris and I alone in the final 8 with 6 original Chorotega members, which makes me nervous.

On top of that, I don't think any original Guatuso member will win up against any original Chorotega member in the final 3. I just don't see it happening.

Which is why Chris and I are trying to make a power play right now. Either we get Caryn to help us out and take out another big player tonight, or we wait it out, get Tom/Jolanda/Ibe to take out Chris, and then we idol out one of the Chorotegans when it's 5/5 in the final 10.

The plan for now is to stick with the Caryn boot because it would be stupid to make our move right now while they would still have numbers on us. After that, we're going to try and get Tom to agree to vote out Gregg, and then we can use Tom's plan to split the vote on Chad against him and vote out either Jolanda, Ibe, Bobby Jon, or him. After that, who the hell knows. And I sure hope this plan works.

I'm stumped on the idol. Obviously I'm safe tonight, and I hope I'll be safe for a while, so I don't want to use it and waste it, but I really don't want to be blindsided. I'm may eventually get to the point where I announce that I have it and that I'm going to play it regardless to fake them out from voting for me, and then the next time around, I would really play it. The way I see it, having the idol guarantees me 2 safe tribals as long as I play it right.
