I don't think he took any clues. At least for the one he had at mine he didn't. He just typed random words in and guessed the right one.

On my boot, no one took any clues. So none of us were even thinking that someone may have found the idol.

So was there a penalty or something for taking clues? And how the hell did he pull that out of nowhere?

Yeah, so did I on the first idol. Garabito was hella specific. I had to make quite a few leaps/conclusions to even come close to finding it.

    Oh dear Ami. ;__;

That was a very clean and professional game indeed. You seemed to be just breezing past any danger round after round and easily avoiding the target every time you feared for your spot.

If this Season ever gets fanfic'd, I am totally laying on all your idol-hate heavy in the early episodes icon_biggrin

I have tried in the past, it takes fucking forever and then all the old seasons got wiped, but this season was incredibly good so it might inspire me to try again. Maybe instead of trying to copy and paste all the conversations that were inmportant in a story-line (which takes fucking fOREVER) I'll just write it as a narrative, who knows.

I got half of Helen's Season written up before I moved on to other projects. But it was the second half so it is sitting unread at the board icon_laughing

I will finish it someday! It can be an eye-opener to see exactly the difference between what you thought was going on, and what was actually going on - how people were working PMs especially icon_yes You can actually see ideas spreading around, or misunderstandings shaping events, or how such and such moves from obvious boot to top of the totem in a few PMs.

It's really half the reason I host :P

Oh gosh, I'm afraid to see Greece's post-merge. But that was definitely the right segment of episodes to cover (with maybe a two-page recap of the pre-merge TC's and mutinies).

Oh no, I will do the whole thing or nothing. I have all the PMs re-ordered and formatted and everything. It's just a case of picking out the threads within and putting them into a more compelling story order. Eh editing it, that's the word icon_biggin

Ooh, and images, I need to add good images to it too.

Maybe next month when I have a chunk of downtime :o (most likely not though..)

Once this game finishes and you join the alumni, we can set you up at any of the other existing Season's boards. All two and a half of them :D (server crash, don't ask, I lost half my Season icon_cry )

Plus Jeff has the fanfics from some of the first 7 Seasons saved up somewhere I think?

So last season was Refuge, and before that was Greece?

    What was your season, Brenda?

And does Jeff always choose half & half casts from 2 seasons like he did with us? I know he used the other half of Vanuatu/Palau in India...

Yup it's always half from one, half from another, unless it's All-Stars or some kind of returnee thing. I have a file around here somewhere of research on old Seasons I did when I first played. (I was a noob in a Fans v Faves Season, so good to know who exactly you're up against). Let me see if I can find it.

I put together a spreadsheet of all my knowledge acquired, too. We should probably consolidate sometime considering last time I asked Poody for some more detailed history the response I got was "Season five had... a swap? Or mutiny?... Next, uh, season nine. Why are you asking about this, again?"

    Hi Poody icon_biggrin
