Wasn't I in another alliance briefly? The MACC Daddies? I think that had Mia-Ami-Chris-Chad icon_laughing

I wonder how I hold up with the most alliances in a handful of rounds.

But I never told Brook she was targeting him. I don't even think I had talked to Brook yet because it was like an hour into the game. But whatever craziness happened, I think Chris SERIOUSLY overplayed the Mia hate. It was definitely there in the beginning because the game was new and stuff, but after settling in.... we would have been the biggest dumbasses on the face of the planet to vote her off over Julie, Dolly, or Lisa. Ironically Lisa is sitting in the F3 right now. icon_smile I'd really like to know what Chris told Mia because honestly the only thing I ever said to him was after she wanted to form our alliance of me, you, Chris, and her, and then she didn't respond to me about it for a whole day, I just said to Chris... "I don't know if that's actually real. I think she may have done this with everyone else." And then right before the second challenge I got a PM from Chris saying he wanted to work with you and I, but he didn't know about Mia because he didn't trust her. But apparently you guys were in a different alliance. I can't remember exactly, but I just remember you and I talking that we needed to talk Brook and Chris out of thinking booting Mia was a good idea. Which is rather ironic considering what Chris was apparently telling her.

You beat me to it, I forgot about that one until just after you posted icon_laughing

I think you nailed it, that's how it went down with Chris not really wanting her with us, just you and I. Then Chris became semi inactive because he was in another game or something?

Mia... I'm telling you... in the very beginning I didn't trust you. But you were NOT in a bad position at all on Guatuso. I have no idea what Chris told you. I started getting paranoid about a girl's alliance right before the swap. But I think the common denominator here is Brook. I think he was a fucking lunatic and was spreading craziness all over the tribe somehow thinking that was a good game or something.

You DEFINITELY have record for most alliances. Which is why I feared you most. Even though I loved you. Chris named it the MACC Daddies. But that alliance really only lasted like half a day so I'm not sure if it counts.

The only REAL alliance I was in was the Motorboats missy. I was 100% loyal to the Motorboats. I wasn't going around making other alliances. icon_razz

Haha. The alliances I set up with Ami, Chad, and John were the only ones I had. Tying them together was all I wanted to do to make it easier for us. My game never was going to be THAT complex at the start...

Yep. That's exactly how it went down. And he was all anti-Mia. But we were going to try to convince him if we lost again that voting out Mia was retarded.

So I have no idea how the leap from that reality to what he told Mia after the swap occurred.

It was, I was saying that since my first confessional. I feel like the NuChorotega-NuGuatuso dynamic was the same, just because NuChorotega won way too much.

I'm still so thankful that luck REALLY was on my side that we never lost. It would have been a travesty if I went out premerge icon_weep Especially if Chris would have outlasted me icon_rolleyes

Ami I have to tell you I feel REALLY bad for not trusting you. I swore you were the leak to Dolly and there was some sort of girl's alliance plotting against us. It was Brook.

And Mia.... same thing applies. I really thought you were scheming all over the place and making an alliance with everyone in the tribe.

Hey, paranoia in a game like Survivor can make you do crazy stupid things. I can't tell you some of the headaches (literally) I got just from thinking about possibilities all throughout. Survivor is amazing icon_wub

Yeah, when we started really bonding around Round 5 or so, I started to feel absolutely horrible of the prospect of you going pre-merge over the likes of Lisa, Caryn, and even Chris and Kim and I really am glad that you didn't. If you had, it would have COMPLETELY been those swap polls fault. I intentionally picked Mia and Chris first because they had such low polls but still seemed active (although I actually kind of picked Mia first in hopes that Chris would flip on her, since even I could tell Chris had a hate boner for her when he made some snarky comment to her during Hot Tamale icon_lol )

I think the worst part for me would have been a huge bruise to my ego icon_laughing The very second I had access to my messages, it was my sole mission to make sure that you KNEW that I would have been a super great awesome ally for you. I always creeped out the Chrortega board and out of the new members I was with, you were always online way more than the others so I knew you were my best shot.

In the end I did love our talks, but the most of it before the merge was me drowning you in "ally pheromones" icon_wub

Chris DID have a hate boner for Mia. That's what's so crazy about all of this. And honestly from our side. The nuGuatuso side.... right before the swap we realized that someone was telling everyone what we talked about. My only real alliance - John, Chad, Brook, Ami. Dolly knew EVERYTHING down to the fact that if we lost again we were going to vote her off. I incorrectly assumed it was Ami who was telling her all of that stuff. So we were secretly hoping that you guys would lose and get rid of Ami. And Mia because we figured they were working together in a girl's alliance. I have to say Dolly's behavior at the first IC kind of supported that.

But it was Brook. Brook was a fucking train wreck. I have no idea why he thought he was playing a good game, but whatever.

What is just so fucking ridiculous about all of this is Chris was trying to tell Mia that everyone on Guatuso was against her when he was one of the ONLY ONES who was.

    I'm baffled.

Oh, I do have one question: Does anyone know who kept taking clues on NuChorotega (other than Mia, obviously, that one doesn't count since it was for the group)? Was it Caryn? Because that person is still an idiot in my mind.

My theory was always Chris. He took clues along with Mia and Chad on Guatuso.

I think the only people who I really lay into are Bobby Jon (I hit him HARD in my confessionals when he lies about his Lisa vote... so hard) and kind of Ibe. Oh, and John for his ridiculous clue lie and for the post-swap fake fight shenanigans in general. I remember that was when I thought I might get to be the hero to his villain icon_lol I had it so backwards icon_lol

And I had kind of thought it was Chris too, but reading Caryn's "mastermind" posts makes me think she could have considered that a brilliant move to instill paranoia or some shit icon_lol icon_rolleyes

    Oh Caryn.

You know, if she was as active as the majority of the jury members, she would have been fantastic. Seriously.
