Well guys, you made it to the final 5. Congratulations. There are 13 other players who would love to be where you are but you have outwitted, outplayed and outlasted them all.

Now comes the toughest challenge yet.

You will have 24 hours starting now to complete it. You can begin the challenge whenever you'd like. Your goal is to count as high as you possibly can. The trick is that you can only post one number per minute. The numbers must be sequential and you cannot post two numbers within any one minute. If you mess up, you have to start over.

You can begin whenever you want but starting a thread in your confessional forum. However, you must stop counting tomorrow at 7c/8e.

That's one hour before Tribal Council begins.

Is everyone clear?

Yes but ugh fuck my Tuesday meetings. I won't make it for Tribal Council but I will definitely be able to do the challenge.

Understood. Do we find out how much everyone posted by the end of it, or just the winner?

And are we allowed to discuss our current numbers? Like, how much we've posted in our topic at a certain time?

Just to be clear, we would post something like:

    Post 1 @ 8:01:06

    Post 2 @ 8:02:56

    Post 3 @ 8:03:02

    ?

I'd love clarification on this. No point in spending my entire night doing this if I've already done it wrong

Since it looks like Jeff had to run out, this will be the official ruling unless he says otherwise very soon.

Yes. You must post once in the sixty second window between the beginning of a clock minute and the end of it. Not sixty seconds apart necessarily.

Yes. You can discuss with one another whatever you please. No one is obliged to be honest regarding this when speaking to others either. (Also, even if people are thinking they are being honest doesn't mean they haven't unknowingly made a mistake.)

Thanks Helen, the clock minute distinction is an important one.

Just to clear a few things up.

    1) If you make a mistake, it is on your head to notice it and start over. We will only need to check the highest scorer (so long as they don't screw up) and we will only check for errors at the end, so watch your own work!

    -Obvious mistake #1; posting the sequence 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6. Your score would be 4 if you never restarted.
-Obvious mistake #2; posting the sequence 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 (skipping a number) Your score would be 11 if you never restarted.
-Obvious mistake #3; posting twice within the same board clock minute. Your score would be whatever you got up to - if you never restarted.
If you manage to make a mistake that's not one of those you may as well just quit right now. You get a big bucket of pride for creativity. icon_golfclap

So if you do make a mistake and have to restart, consider if you can beat your current score. We will accept the highest score you achieved correctly within the challenge timeframe.

Thing #2 - your posts can be in non-consective minutes. So you count to 100 right now, then come back in the morning and continue from 101, or take a pee-break or whatever.

    All clear?

And don't forget you gotta dig deep! icon_chaos

For one of these competitors, this will mean you go from a one-in-five to a one-in-four shot at a million internets. For another, this could send you home.

    Who.
    Wants it.
    Most.
