Day 04 - Immunity Challenge #1

Welcome everyone, Chorotega and Guatuso,

We will begin your first Immunity Challenge in an hour and a half. I'm posting early because I have some things for you to think about before the challenge begins.

Before every Immunity Challenge, you will be faced with a choice. If you would like to receive a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol (which will become available after the challenge) you can decide to take one anonymously. For every person that takes a clue, your tribe will incur a penalty. You will not know what that penalty will be. So you have to decide, are you willing to risk tribal immunity in return for the potential of having individual Immunity? Whether you have taken a clue or not will remain 100% confidential. At no point in the game will it be revealed. You can request a clue by PMing me on your tribe beaches BEFORE the set challenge time.

You have until 9c/10e to PM me requesting a clue to the idol. You will receive the clue after the challenge is complete.


One other thing, the tribe leaders will play a pivotal role in this challenge and future challenges, along with making final decisions for each challenge. If at any time a leader does not feel that they can live up to these expectations, they may give the leadership role to another tribemate. No one other than the leader can assign leadership to someone else. Until the leader is either voted off or relinquishes power, they are your tribe leaders.

For today's challenge, we will require at least 5 tribemates. Every tribemate has to participate whether they are here or not. The 8 tribemates apart from the leader will be divided into 4 pairs of 2. It would behoove each tribe to pair weaker or unavailable tribemates with tribemates that can pick up the slack. Just something to think about in the hour and a half we have left before the challenge.

Alright. I will post details for the challenge shortly so we can get on with the show... But first I have a special message for the Stranded Community.

As today is veterans day, I'd like to dedicate this challenge to all of the troops around the world fighting for their country, as well as our own alumni who have served in the military. Namely: Jessie, Ian, Ethan, Hunter, and Yul. I'm sure there are more that I am unaware of, maybe even some of you have served or are currently enlisted. I want to thank you all for your service and wish you luck in your continued service for all of us at home.

Alright here is how today's challenge will work.

The tribe leader will post in this thread deciding who will be in each pair of 2. The 4 pairs will each receive a 4x4 puzzle (16 pieces total in the shape of a square). This will be in a private forum in your challenge discussion forums here at the arena. Each pair will work together (or alone) to solve the 4 puzzles. Once you have solved your puzzle. Post it in a PUBLIC thread in your tribe discussion forums here on the arena.

Once all 4 completed puzzles are posted in the thread, the tribe leader will then assemble a final 2x2 puzzle using the 4 completed puzzles. Once this is completed, the leader will post the final puzzle here in this thread.

No one else is to post in this thread other than the leader.

All puzzles must be completed using the original image codes. No external computer programs (paint, photoshop, etc...) can be used to POST the puzzle. They can be used to help you figure it out if you want to, but any final puzzles must be posted using the original images in image tags.

If there are any questions, please ask them now.

Also, this should be obvious, but no one is allowed to help anyone else in parts of the challenge that are not assigned to them.

I'm pair #1, which I have access too, but I also have access to pair #4 as well.
