It looks like your plan to save Gregg never came to fruition, leaving you in a bit of a bind.

Are you planning to approach your situation defensively (make it so the kids in power have bigger fish to fry) or offensively (try to lasso a group together and go on the attack)? What are your thoughts?

Chad decided at the last minute that he didn't want to vote out Mia this round. His justification was that he wanted to vote out Gregg for personal reasons, which is a stupid way to play the game. Kim and I then knew we wouldn't have the numbers to oust Mia so we voted for Gregg with the majority.

I am absolutely going on the offensive against those in power. I have managed to convince both Kim and Chad (for good this time) that we need to split up Tom/Mia/Ami before it's too late. Ibrehem winning immunity is the best thing that could have happened, because if I understand the tie-breaker rules correctly he will be able to decide who leaves in the case of a tie. This means that we don't need to try to swing a fifth person to our side and risk them telling the others who we are voting for, but rather we can be confident going into a tied vote. I have spear-headed this counter-attack. This is my baby. If it works it will be the first big move I have made out in the open and it will be something concrete that I can point to when I'm pleading my case to the jury.

Given that the tie-breaker rules are unclear, I don't want to take the risk of going to rocks. What I plan to do is get Tom/Mia/Ami to vote for Lisa (Mia is already OK with this), Lisa will vote for somebody else, and myself/Kim/Ibrehem/Chad will vote for Mia. Mia will leave with a 4-3-1 vote, which I think will be glorious.

With all this talk of tied votes, have you considered the possibility of a second idol knocking about the place?

I am certain that somebody has the idol from Chorotega beach. As the most likely candidates are Mia and Ami, I have repeatedly emphasised to Chad, Kim, and Ibrehem the need to keep our plan under wraps so that they don't get spooked and play it. From their point of view, Kim, Chad, and I are still with them so I would be surprised if an idol was played. There's also a small possibility that Lisa has the idol, but I doubt she would actually do something in this game like play it on Mia.

Tell me about your (relationship with?) opinions of Lisa. Was it not just yesterday you were trying to rope her in as a vote, but then last night at TC you were quite confrontational with her. Is that a part of the "BJ comes out his shell" strategy, or something else?

I have, in the past, considered trying to convince Lisa to join me because she is on the bottom of her alliance. However, I have never actually approached her about it. Kim may have tried to work something with Lisa for our mutual benefit, but I really couldn't be bothered with her. She would either not respond to me or run and tell the big girls (Mia and Ami) about my plan. I decided to confront Lisa at Tribal Council last night to shift the "forgettable" label off of myself and onto somebody more deserving of it, to come out of my shell more in public, and also to show a bit of a mean streak. I have heard that the other players have only nice things to say about me, and that could end up being my downfall if I'm seen as too much of a threat in front of the jury. Lisa's an easy target as she's unlikely to fight back. I'm also not losing anything by picking on her as we have a nearly non-existent relationship as it is, and the jury knows that what I said about Lisa was true.

Mia has the idol. No big surprise there. She feels vulnerable because Chad told her and Ami that Ibrehem, Kim, and I had tried to get him to vote for her last time. I have had to once again insist to Tom/Ami/Mia that Chad was lying, trying to make me look bad, and split us up. I think that Mia may be bluffing about using her idol tonight. If I'm wrong about that, Lisa may be going home with the second most votes. If I'm wrong about that too, then I could very well be in danger. I am going to do all I can to make Mia feel safe enough to not play her idol, sending her home with her idol in her pocket.
