Kim - Winner

Best Rack

Most Likely to Escape a Food Fight Without a Mark Because She Used You As a Human Shield Without You Knowing

Highlight of the Season: I have a Brenda confessional to make. icon_blush About a week before the game began Jeff asked me about this player and whether or not to cast. I had just come out of a game with them and I was a bit, meh, likeable, could be a decent player, but doesn't really play to win though. :/
Make them first back-up in case you have a drop.. and on the surface, the more casual viewers will probably only see that much too. But omg THANK FUCKING CHRIST WE HAD A DROP, watching Kim's game from the inside was perfection personified. There aren't even words.

How can I even try. Lets see;
Kim's game was all about releasing controlled amounts of whatever was needed at the time. Loyalty, strategy, ignorance, friendship, challenge strength Everything was carefully weighted. Not too much, not too little. People get hung up on "having a number one" in these games, and indeed she spent a long time looking for one, but in the process landed herself as nearly everyone's number 3-4 pre-merge. Just off of the radar. Not someone we're gonna have to look at booting any time soon, she'll be a loyal vote for us. But no way near the bottom of anyone's pile either. Buffer play <3

Everyone, and I mean everyone (yes even Lisa :P ) was in serious danger of going home at some point during the game. The only time Kim was in any danger were the ties that you guys saw on the outside. Even then, that was not because the others wanted to, or were scared of her as a threat to win. They were only in that situation because hands were forced. lol, Kim? I can beat Kim at the end, easy. There is a constant theme in every merge players confessional about how they think they'd like to go to the end with Kim. Nobody ever saw her threat until it was too late. Bobbi Jon was the poor schmoe that actually fell victim to it but the rest of you were planning to as well :D Once you read around yes you'll find a bit of "hmm, I'm not sure where Kim's head is at" but it always turns into "Kim is with us, for sure" in next to no time. She kept her distance from everyone, but in doing so she never overcommitted. She stayed away from the bottom, but she stayed well away from the top. A big part of her game relied on staying in Tom's shadow, but as soon as he was ready to drop her and commit to a different final three, she fucking spidersensed it and cut him off at the pass. Then of course, each time she needed immunity - out comes controlled bursts of immunity. Hell at one point she was doing it for fun just to annoy Jeff :P But crucial spam challenge? Like a fucking machine. Then I saw the fie-making was social - ooh shit, she talked with more people than most but as much as Tom did? eek. nw. Nailed it.

Turning it on when it was needed <3 And let me tell you - nothing about Kim's positional play was accidental. Information trafficking <3 Watching her different PMs simply flow, how much to send that guy, what does she need to know right now? How little can I say to him and still keep him with me.

And then FTC. Knocked it out of the park. You came in there with no locked votes. BJ had two. Lisa had one. I am convinced that each and every vote you picked up was just that. The Scooby Doo reveal Jeff talked about right back at the merge. And even then people looked at Caryn or Lisa or Gregg or Chad, no-one looked at little Kimmy icon_biggrin

k I'm rambling now, but she was just that good.

Oh, and one more thing, Kim has played over 20 times. But this is only the second time ever she made FTC.

And this is her very first win <3

I've never had the pleasure of hosting her at this level before, and I just can't understand how this is her first. Watching her grow from being a little frightened to be late, friendless, & out of the loop to making that space her personal territory was kinda moving.

I am so fucking proud of you Seve <3

Congratulations on #1, I hope & know there will be more to follow.

I have to agree with you there, Tom. Our relationship was my favourite thing about this game icon_Gizmo icon_Gizmo

Fair warning, I may have said some not-so-nice things about you in my confessional after our falling out icon_lol But overall this is the most unique relationship I've had the games I've played (I'm a relative newbie as well!) and I will always look back on it as one of the most notable things about the season icon_wub icon_Gizmo icon_Gizmo icon_Gizmo

Yay Kim! I've read your name before Seve but IDK if we've ever spoken.

Fun fact: I know Julie extremely well. She's also an AIM ORGer. I can vouch for her internet problems. She's probably played 50+ of them, but a lot of those were shitty ORGs hosted by 10 year olds and she almost always gets Brenda Lowe'd.

Brenda asked me to do a fallen comrades thing and my thoughts on the final 3 and this is what I said about you.

I officially knew nobody in this game. And it baffles me that people have time to play in 20-50 of these things...
