I would never, ever respond favorably to this. If Ibe just fucked this up... I don't get it. Ami asks Ibe a simple question "how do I know [four] votes are there?" and all he responds with is how much he wants to get rid of Chad, how Ami should too, and how they're both taking a risk. That's not only non-responsive, but borderline discouraging based on the simplicity and directness of the question.

Ibreham wrote:Bobby Jon and I will let Kim know, and (I sent Tom a message), but you should let Lisa and Tom know too. And we have to keep this all a secret.

How is anything a secret if you're telling EVERYONE in the game!?

    And this is why;

Iberehem (to Ami) wrote:You just have to trust me.
He voted for me more than once and he screwed over literally the only person who has helped me get further when I was in trouble and Mia's gone because of him. If we have anything it common, it's that he's both screwed us over.
And I'm doing this for Bobby Jon as well. Bobby Jon nor Tom (whoever he says to us) shouldn't be going now, he should already be gone. I don't think he's done anything to deserve it and this way we won't know whose side he was really on until after the votes so neither of us have to take that chance and leave it up to him. Personally, I don't want him deciding when any of the six of us go. Bobby Jon and I will let Kim know, and (I sent Tom a message), but you should let Lisa and Tom know too. And we have to keep this all a secret.
I mean, i could very well be taking this risk for you, too.
What if the votes are read and it's 6 Chad, 1 Tom?
That would mean he was with us and then he'll hate the three of us, so... We're all willing to take that risk just to do this for you guys, for all of us. Really, we want to. And by the way, I think he is voting for Tom, he suggested it. I think he thinks Tom will replace him in our alliance and he's threatened by Tom because of closeness to Kim. He thinks we'll bring Tom in and kick him out. So, he's trying to force the idea of Tom down our throats.

Actually I bolded those bits but it's the whole damn message, the plan within, and the sentiment behind it. There are times when you need everyone in on something, and there are times when you need only as many people to know things as you can mange. This is easily the latter. Letting Kim know is forgivable thanks to the situation, but why oh why tell Tom? And why oh why load Ami with all this unnecessary info that she will use to her benefit - not Ibe's. Oh you, BJ, Kim, Chad have an alliance?? Good to know. Good grief.

lol, we were typing that at the same time. It's okay, she doesn't just have to trust him, he went on to spill everything anyway. icon_laughing

He just laid out a red carpet for Ami all the way to the finals, take Chad out tonight, followed by using Kim to do Ibe next, then Tom/BJ, then BJ/Tom.

Yo Jeff, Ami promised to Tom in PM that she would 'call shit out' at TC if necessary - with the aim in mind of exposing Chad (and Kim) of playing multiple sides, although by then she might feel more secure (or less secure and not wanting to rock the boat. Tom is deathly afraid that her calling Chad out would expose him too. Also BJ has an idol of course.

So I reckon tonight at TC, a few questions along that line wouldn't hurt to maybe finally get an exciting tribal. That is the one thing this Season has been lacking in. Fuck it, hit them all with hardballers and give them a real grilling. If ever there was a night to make people bluster and change their minds mid-TC, tonight is it.

Tell me your reading this madness in PMs Helolen. These people are nuts.

I fear it's just gonna revert to plan boot BJ though, and he's gonna be comfortable enough not to play the idol.

It's a clusterfuck. Most confusing is Ami, whose PMs don't match her confessional planning at all, so I'm glad you inquired about that. I think that Chad/Tom/Kim will land on BJ. Ibe/BJ will land on Tom or Chad. Ami, I'm not really sure, since I can't tell if these conversations are changing her mind, or if she's just grasping for something reliable in this mess, but I could see her going BJ at this point, as well. I don't think Lisa has ever changed from BJ since she's just out of the loop, and can't imagine Ami will invite her into any new information if she does in fact decide to vote otherwise.

The funniest part of all of this is that the power players are all being honest about practically everything important. Like, everything is on the table now between Chad/Tom/Ami (although they're each hiding their true endgame plans). I guess it's just reached this point that lying about this elaborate mess and keeping track of it just becomes too mind-numbingly confusing.

I think BJ is going to play his idol though. Meaning Chad (or possibly Tom, or maybe even Ami---if Tom's plea to the boys work) will head out the door with Ibe/BJ's two votes... And Ibe will be scorned again and we'll need to read another 1,000 words about how mean everyone else is and only he deserves to win for being truthful icon_rolleyes

Fuck it all. I don't even care who goes anymore. (Though I am starting to think Ami will vote for BJ after all since Kim's willingness to vote Chad is questionable from Ami's perspective, and more importantly, Ibe and BJ are just awful at managing people, so Ami has to be convinced they're full of shit or sabotaging their own plan at this point.)

With that said, Ami needs to start calling people out in public like she's threatening to so that we get an epic TC tonight.

If he does, I hope Tom calls him out on his lies to him earlier with the same kinda tone he apologised to BJ with, preferably in public this time.

Do you believe you'd have heard about it by now if this wasn't the case?

Kim is spot on, and if she can get the Jury to see this come FTC she has a very compelling argument to win. I do enjoy cranking up the paranoia though icon_razz

Ugh, that latest post in Lisa's confessional is boderline coaching, but I'm not pointing her in a specific direction, I just want a damn reaction and maybe some indication of a semblance of strategical mind at work behind the niceties.

I think that I have been telling tribes that tc's in the merge are more crazy to try and get them to be explosive and it may backfire by them just waiting on something to be explosive instead of actually exploding. Maybe int he future I just wont say anything.
