    I see you are not on AIM, so just to put this here;

    YogBrenda: (November 12, 05:02:10 p.m.) what are you thinking for the challenge tonight?
    YogBrenda: (November 12, 05:02:27 p.m.) IMO, go for something that encourages a lot of intertribal mingling
    YogBrenda: (November 12, 05:02:48 p.m.) so they have something to go on when the shuffle kicks in next round
    YogBrenda: (November 12, 05:03:04 p.m.) judging by the confessionals, they have next to no read on each other yet.

    That's a good idea. Maybe we can do some take on 20 questions, or matching.

    How about, pass the bomb?

    Only to do it in tribes, so they have to specifically say who they are passing to. So say, *Throws bomb at Julie*. That person then has to throw it on to a different player than the one they received it from (Obvs cannot be thrown at someone who is out already). Including when it's down to three remaining, so yes, you have to chuck it at a team-mate in the penultimate/or final round.

    We come up with a set of predetermined times, at the right time, you or I will post a boom image, whoever is holding at that time is knocked out. Last person standing wins for their tribe. I would suggest a pattern to the boom times, so a bright spark can figure it out. Always start the bomb exatly on the miinute, then explode a certain amount after - Say 1:11 for the first bomb, 2:22 for the second, up to 5:55 for the fifth then working back down. This'd stop any cries of foul play or favouritism if we revealed the pattern afterwards too.

    This is potentially 16 bombs though, so could take quite a while at that pace. Maybe just 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, then back to 2:22, 1:11 and up again etc.

    And of course, psyche out tactics by players not holding the bomb are positively encouraged.

    I like that idea. I want to turn it into something else though. Maybe we have a limit for the amount of time any one person can hold it. If you have it for longer than say 15 seconds, it explodes.

    Maybe call it hot tamale just for the sake of Costa Rica...

    Only worry with that is it could go on for a looong time if the final few players are good enough.

    Maybe have it be a decreasing time window? Start at 20 seconds and after every pass, that player has one less second to hand it off. (19 for the second. 18 for the third.) If you limit it to just five or so players per tribe, it shouldn't go on too long.

    The only issue with Brenda's idea is if someone picks up on the time differences of the BOOMs (whatever the pattern might be), they could deliberately hand it off a few seconds beforehand. To avoid that, you'd need to not have a pattern, which recalls the riggage issue that the pattern was designed to avoid in the first place.

    I am not sure I'll be here. And if I am I'm gonna be at least semi-distracted with the finale in that other game I mentioned.
