Highlight of the Season: Ami is maybe the most old-school gamer in the cast. And it showed. There is no happenstance about topping all of those surveys, and it's no accident it required an idol to take her out of the game. It really was a pleasure to watch just how far calmness under pressure can get you (even if she was this close to the boot on NuChoro four different rounds :P ) Who remembers F7 when Ami really ought to have been in the minority and getting taken out? Yet you all kept finding excuses to leave off on targeting her quite yet.. Gotta split up Ibe & BJ first, Chad is playing both sides, ooh I'd feel bad about taking her out.. wait wat? Yes guess who that was while she was actively pushing your name to anyone who would listen. *koffchaddykoff*. Then of course BJ & Tom made-up through gritted teeth, and Ami drifted back into the background again.

Even earlier on when she was lacking control or power she was at least acutely aware of it, and always had a plan *just about* to kick off. I'm sure in a less crazy game she would have dominated. It's not all rosey though, Ami was blissfully unaware until very recently how close she was to her tribe and later-game closest allies wanting to throw a challenge just to make sure she couldn't get the chance to work her stuff at merge.

It was an absolute pleasure to watch you at work Ami, and you seemed to enjoy every minute of it too. I think I even caught you smiling at the irony of the idol boot. :P
